Founded in October 2018 by Safiyyah Siyanbade, our adventure began with a deep passion for planning events that make you say, “Wow, that was epic!”
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been the go-to friend for all things fun! Whether it was throwing the best parties or helping my pals brainstorm their next big gigs, I was always the one rallying the troops for a good time. In University, I was practically a social butterfly, fluttering from one planning committee to another, all in the name of fun! You should’ve seen the smiles on everyone’s faces when the dance floor was packed and the laughter was contagious!
Fast forward to the birth of Afterparty Props! It all kicked off when I helped Rasheedat (My bestie) plan her wedding afterparty. Talk about a lightbulb moment! I jumped right into sourcing glow props and custom-branded caps that turned the night into an unforgettable bash. That night was so lit (literally!), it led to my first official gig in December 2019 , which was the IBIBRU wedding afterparty. And let me tell you, the rest is history!
